TPE & SMBs winning on all costs

In January 2018, ALTUS COATING has been committed to an operation proposed by ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency): “TPE & SMBs winning on all costs“. Recent operations led by ADEME have demonstrated the immediate economic interest for companies to implement actions to optimize their flows.

With this result, ADEME is offering companies with fewer than 250 employees (SMBs) support in reducing these costs, in partnership with the ICCs (International Chamber of Commerce).

ALTUS COATING is the first French company to be involved in this process, support by the Jura Chamber of Commerce. Our goal is certainly economic but, above all, fits more broadly into the CSR approach (Corporate Social Responsibility) of the company. Thus, this action makes employees aware of good practices while having at their disposal a tool to assess everyone’s efforts.

As a first step, a diagnostic phase of the existing situation took place. The conclusions have directed the main actions towards energy and the improvement of the management of waste.

Currently, we are setting the action plan decided with our ICC support. Regular points with the ICC are realized for 18 months thus allowing us to consolidate our approach and to appreciate evolutions and expected performances.
